The Proguard DXB100 uses a UV bulb inside of our PCO cells to help create the sanitization process and a by-product in many UV products is that it creates low levels of ozone.
The levels are safe for humans and plants when used in a properly sized room with good airflow and the sanitization will smell fresh and clean so in Cultivation rooms the DXB100 units is suitable.
In areas like a Trim, Packaging, Vault, and Hallways there is usually limited airflow and the small amount of ozone starts to build up and will get a “chlorine” type smell which could be irritating for employees. So, in the DXB50 we use a “No Ozone” UV bulb so it can be used in occupied spaces and we recommend using the DXB50 in “non-cultivation” areas like Trim, Packaging, Vault, Hallways.
