Top Hat Grommets provide a water tight connection between a plastic reservoir tank and the piping of the water lines in an irrigation system.
The Top Hat Grommet is positioned at the bottom of the reservoir tank, the grommet is inserted into the hole, the water line piping is pushed through the grommet to the inside of the reservoir. A filter can then be fitted to the water piping inside the reservoir tank.
Note: Sizing is the internal diameter, e.g. 13mm Grommet fits 13mm OD hose.
If fitting a 9mm grommet (for AQUAvalve5) to an existing/non-AutoPot plastic reservoir, drill out to 12.5mm diameter.
If fitting a 6mm grommet (for older, pre Aug 2020 AQUAvalves) to an existing/non-AutoPot plastic reservoir, drill out to 10mm diameter.
